The code oji is classified in ISO 639 as an individual language code. In practice, however, it appears to be a collection of related languages that are conventionally called by the given name.
We have mapped this to all languages of the Ojibwa genetic subgroup of the Algonquian family that are known as "Ojibwa". This corresponds to seven out of eight languages in that subgroup, the exception being Algonquin [ALG], which, in our understanding, is always known by that name and is not referred to using the term "Ojibwa".
