Region On Ambai Island in Cenderawasih Bay, south of Serui Island, along the south coast of Serui Island from 136.20' to 136.45', Yapen Waropen Kabupaten, Yapen Selatan and Yapen Timur kecamatans. 10 villages.

Serial verbs, complex directional demonstrative system. Literacy rate in first language: 25% to 50%. Literacy rate in second language: 50% to 75%. Bible portions 1994.
