Population 1,038 speakers (1990 census), out of 5,000 population (1977 SIL). 
Region Wind River Reservation, Wyoming, and associated with the Cheyenne in western Oklahoma.

Classification Algic, Algonquian, Plains, Arapaho.
Comments Bilingualism in English. Most or all speakers are middle-aged or older. Bible portions 1903.
