Population The last fluent speaker died in 1996, out of ethnic population of 500 (1977 SIL). 
Region Near Rock Hill, northern South Carolina.
Classification Siouan, Catawba.
Comments There were several dialects. Related to Woccon. Bilingualism in English. Nearly extinct.
