Population 4,000 in Hong Kong (1977 Voegelin and Voegelin) and a few in Macau (1996 Ian Watts), out of 8,500 in the ethnic group (1985). 
Region Hong Kong and Macau. Possibly in USA.
Alternate names   MACAO CREOLE PORTUGUESE, MACAENSE
Classification Creole, Portuguese based.
Comments A small number of elderly women in Macau speak it as mother tongue.
