Region South, Moyen-Chari Prefecture, Sarh and Koumra subprefectures, in the area between Sarh, Djoli, Bédaya, Koumra, and Koumogo villages.

Classification Niger-Congo, Atlantic-Congo, Volta-Congo, North, Adamawa-Ubangi, Adamawa, Mbum-Day, Bua.
Comments Boyd (1989) indicates speakers are shifting to Sar. Nearly extinct.
