Comments 83% lexical similarity with Standard Italian; 81% with Sassarese; 70% with Logudorese, 66% with Cagliare. A growing movement to recognize Sard as an important part of their cultural and linguistic heritage. Influenced by Corsican and Tuscan (Standard Italian). They call Campidanese and Logudorese 'Sard', and the people 'Sards', but do not include themselves or their language in those terms. Bible portions 1861-1862.
