Comments Cagliaritan is the dialect of Cagliari, the capital of Sardinia. Campidanese is quite distinct from the other Sardinian languages. Cagliare has 62% lexical similarity with Standard Italian, 73% with Logudorese, 66% with Gallurese. It is in general use in the south. A movement is growing to recognize Sard as an important part of their linguistic and cultural heritage. Bible portions 1860-1900.
