Region  Koryak National District, northeast Kamchatka Peninsula, Vyvenka and Khailino villages; 2 families in Rekinniki; families in Tilichiki and Tymlat; some scattered.

Dialects  Alutorskij (Alutor Proper), Karaginskij (Karaga), Palanskij (Palana). Considered a dialect of Koryak [kpy] until recently.

Language use  Shifting to Russian. Home. Used by older adults actively; some monolinguals; middle-aged adults passive bilinguals; younger than 35 use only Russian (1997).
