Writing system  Arabic script, used in China. Cyrillic script, not used in Afghanistan. Latin script, used in Turkey.
Comments  The names Eastern Kyrghyz and Western Kyrghyz have been erroneously applied to Kazakh. Increasing education. SOV. Muslim (Sunni), Buddhist (Lamaist).
