Task 47. Creating a CQL Query Filter
Learning objective
You will learn to filter entries with or without data of a particular type (for example, all entries containing multiple senses) by making a CQL (Cellar Query Language) Query.
Preparation
Open the English Lexical Database.
Adding a new CQL Query Filter
1. On the menu, click Go…Filter.
2. In Filters, click
,
select CQL Query, and click
.
Editing a new CQL Query Filter
1. Click
.
2. In the CQL Query Filter Editor, for Name of Filter, type Entries with Multiple Senses.
3. For Abbreviation, type mult sen.
4. For Source Code, type (size over allSenses of my senses > 1) and click OK.
Activating a new CQL Query Filter
1. In Filters, click OK.
Result: Shows the status in red on the bottom status bar (19 entries have more than one Sense in the English Lexical Database).
2. On the menu, click File…Save Knowledge Base.
