Some dialectal variation among the Kaang villages. Kaang is intelligible to some extent with neighboring languages, such as Rawngtu Chin [weu], Müün Chin [mwq], and Daai Chin [dao]. Lexical similarity: 73%–80% with Rawngtu Chin [weu], 77%–79% with Müün Chin [mwq], 67%–80% with Daai [dao] varieties.
