Gueckedou and Kissidougou prefectures; also in Faranah Prefecture, southernmost point, and in western Macenta Prefecture, near Zialo language area.

Dialects

Kama, Liaro, Teng, Tung. Reportedly similar to Sherbro [bun]. Southern Kissi [kss] of Liberia and Sierra Leone is different.
