Dialects

Batu Merah, Kelang, Luhu. Lexical similarity: 72% with Luhu dialect, 71%–73% with Asilulu [asl].

Language Use

Vigorous. Batu Merah dialect spoken on Ambon Island has few remaining speakers. Also use Ambonese Malay [abs].
