SLOVENIA Language name: Venetian Location: Koper, Izola, Piran. Dialects: Istrian, Venetian Proper. Language Use: spoken by the old generations, new generations switch to Croat and Italian. Radio programs, publications and events are being organised in the last years to defend and promote the language. An annual festival (Festival dell'Istroveneto) is held in Buje (Croatia). Writing: Latin script [Latn].
