Population  No known speakers. Ethnic population: 40 families in Santa Cruz de Huallaga.
Region  Lower Huallaga and upper Samiria rivers, right bank tributary of MaraƱon River.
Alternate names   Aguanu, Awano, Santa Crucino, Uguano
Classification  Unclassified
Comments  Ruhlen says this is the same as Chamicuro [ccc] (1987). Chamicuro say they were not the same, but the Aguano spoke Quechua (1987 Wise).
