Population  13,500 (2000).
Region  North West Province, Ngo-Ketunjia Division, Babessi Subdivision, east of Ndop and south of Jakiri.
Language map  Southwestern Cameroon, Enlarged Area, reference number 144
Dialects  Most linguistically and culturally distinct of the Ndop languages. Most closely related to Bambalang [bmo].
Classification  Niger-Congo, Atlantic-Congo, Volta-Congo, Benue-Congo, Bantoid, Southern, Wide Grassfields, Narrow Grassfields, Mbam-Nkam, Nun
Language use  Also use Cameroon Pidgin [wes].
