Language use	Some efforts under way in schools on the reserves to promote knowledge and use of the language. Used for some traditional ceremonies. Mainly adults. Positive attitude. Most prefer to use English [eng]. Some also use Cree [crk].
Language development	Dictionary. Grammar. Bible portions: 1890–1980.
Writing system	Latin script. Unified Canadian Aboriginal Syllabics script, no longer in use.
