Region  Himachal Pradesh, Chamba District, Chaurah and Saluni tahsils, Bhalai Sub-tahsil.
Alternate names   Chaurahi, Churahi Pahari, Churai Pahari
Dialects  90% intelligibility with Mandeali [mjl], 83% with Kangri, 85% with Chambeali [cdh]. Lexical similarity: 78% with Chambeali (most similar), 70% with Palampuri Kangri [xnr] and Bhattiyali [bht], 67%–69% with Gaddi [gbk], 65% with Mandeali and Bilaspuri [kfs], 64% with Pangi.
