| Comments | Outsiders often regard it as Magar, but they claim a Thakuri origin, (de Sales in Toffin 1993). A lot of lexical borrowing from Nepali. An official nationality. Sometimes called Khamkura as are the Kham languages. This can have a general meaning of “local non-Nepali dialect”. (Watters 2002). Traditional religion. |
