Population  3,000. 1,500 monolinguals.
Region  Oaxaca, Choapan District, Santiago Jocotepec Municipio: San Pedro Tepinapa Ejidal, San Pedro Tepinapa Comunal (locally known as Monte de Oro), Linda Vista; San Juan Petlapa Municipio: Santa María Lovani, San Juan Toavela, and Santa Isabel Cajonos. Very remote.

Writing system  Latin script.
Comments  Most villages have less than 6 grades of primary school. Agriculturalists: maize, coffee, ixtle; a few cattle.
