Region  North, Southern Kordofan, Dilling town and surrounding hills, including Kudur.

Dialects  Dilling, Debri. Lexical similarity: 94% between the Dilling and Debri dialects.
Classification  Nilo-Saharan, Eastern Sudanic, Eastern, Nubian, Central, Hill, Unclassified
Language use  Few domains. Only older adults. All also use Sudanese Spoken Arabic [apd]. Very few use Dilling with their children.
Language development  Some literacy materials produced.
Writing system  Latin script.
Comments  People on the Mandal Hills (Sobay (Sud), Adlan, Bade, Kule, Wulal) used to speak the Kudur dialect of Dilling, but now only speak Ama [nyi] and only use Dilling for ceremonies. SOV.
