Region  Northern Territory in Ngangalala, Arnhem Land, southeast adjoining Djinang area.

Dialects  Ganalbingu, Dabi, Mandjalpingu. Lexical similarity: 60% with Djinang [dji].
Classification  Australian, Pama-Nyungan, Yuulngu, Djinang
Language use  Some Ritarungo use as L2. Also use Djinang or Djambarrpuyngu [djr].
Comments  Intermarry with the Djinang.
