| Region | West central Sichuan, Ganzi (Garzê) Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Luding County, plateaus on both sides of the Dadu River north; northwest Tianquan County. One town is Wasigou. |

| Dialects | Phonological dialect differences, but communication is possible. 2 or 3 varieties have difficult mutual intelligibility. |

| Language use | Vigorous. All domains. All ages. Positive attitude. About 5,000 also use Chinese. About 1,000 ethnic Guiqiong reportedly understand Guiqiong, but do not speak it. |
