Dialects	Trinidad Bhojpuri, Sarnami Hindustani (Sarnami Hindi, Aili Gaili). More similar to Bhojpuri [bho] than to Hindi. Similar dialect to Trinidad-Tobago.
Classification	Indo-European, Indo-Iranian, Indo-Aryan, Eastern zone, Bihari
Language use	Monolinguals. All domains. All ages. Positive attitude. Also use Sranan [srn] or Dutch [nld].
Language development	Literacy rate in L1: Below 1%. Literacy rate in L2: 50%–75%. NT: 1997.
Writing system	Latin script.
Comments	Based on Bhojpuri, with influences from Awadhi, with loans from Sranan, Dutch, and English. Hindu, Muslim.
