Dialects  Very similar to Belize Creole English [bzj].
Classification  Creole, English based, Atlantic, Western
Language use  Probably L1 of majority of Islanders. Creole is considered appropriate only for oral purposes. Some also use Standard English.
Language development  Literacy rate in L2: 90% Spanish, 80% English. Bible portions: 1999.
