Alternate names   ’Um Falin, Djimi, Jimjimen
Dialects  Djimi, Zumo (Zumu, Zomo, Zame), Jimo, Wadi (Wa’i), Malabu. Similar to Gude [gde].
Classification  Afro-Asiatic, Chadic, Biu-Mandara, A, A.8
Language use  Also use Fulfude [fub] or French.
Language development  Bible portions: 2006.
Comments  Different from Jimi [jmi] of Nigeria in Bauchi state, which is West Chadic. Muslim, traditional religion.
