Dialects  Not closely related to other languages. Lexical similarity: 20%–22% with Kharia [khr].
Classification  Austro-Asiatic, Munda, South Munda, Kharia-Juang
Language use  No monolinguals. Positive attitude. Some also use Oriya [ori].
