Region  Tandjilé region, Tandjile Est Department, east of Laï.

Alternate names   Gabri-Kimré, Gawra
Dialects  Kimruwa (Kim-Ruwa, Kimré), Buruwa (Bordo). Popularly called ‘Gabri’, but it is not intelligible with Gabri [gab].

Language use  Positive attitude.
Language development  Literacy rate in L1: below 5%. Prefer literacy in Kimre to French or Chadian Spoken Arabic [shu].
