Region  West Seram Island, Hoamoal Peninsula, Luhu village; Boano and Kelang islands, off of west Seram.
Language map  Indonesia, Central Maluku
Dialects  Luhu, Batu Merah, Kelang. Related to Manipa [mqp]. Lexical similarity: 77% with Piru [ppr], 71%–73% with Asilulu [asl].
Classification  Austronesian, Malayo-Polynesian, Central-Eastern, Central Malayo-Polynesian, Central Maluku, East, Seram, Nunusaku, Piru Bay, West, Hoamoal, West
Language use  Vigorous. Batu Merah dialect spoken on Ambon Island has few remaining speakers.
Comments  Historically one language with Piru [ppr]. Muslim.
