Region  Gambella region, along Sudan border north of Anuak [anu] and Nuer [nus]. 5 villages. Also in Sudan.

Dialects  Lexical similarity: 24% with Komo [xom].

Language use  All domains. All ages. Positive attitude. The Opuuo do not have close contact with the Oromo. Some also use Amharic [amh] or Anuak [anu], but Nuer [nus] is their most common second language.
