Region  Central Maluku, south central coast of Ambon Island, Laha village, nearby smaller villages.

Dialects  Related to Seram languages, but distinct from Manusela [wha]. Lexical similarity: 64%–66% with Asilulu [asl] and Seit-Kaitetu [hik] (most similar).
Classification  Austronesian, Malayo-Polynesian, Central-Eastern, Central Malayo-Polynesian, Central Maluku, East, Seram, Nunusaku, Piru Bay, East, Seram Straits, Ambon
Language use  Parents encourage children to speak Laha. All ages. Also use Ambonese Malay [abs].
