Language use  Vigorous. Also use Hausa [hau], Kulere [kul], or English.
Language development  Literacy rate in L2: 50% of young people read Hausa haltingly.
Comments  ‘ma-’ sg. and ‘ba-’ pl. are prefixes referring to speakers. Culturally considered Kulere, but the language is different. Christian.
