| Dialects | Nkwen (Bafreng), Mendankwe (Munda, Bamenda). The Mendankwe dialect has 74% intelligibility of the Nkwen dialect; Nkwen 79% intelligibility of Mendankwe. Socially very distinct groups. Related to Ngemba [nge], Bafut [bfd], Pinyin [pny], Awing [azo], Bambili-Bambui [baw]. |
