Region  Janakpur zone, Sindhuli and Ramechhap districts; Bagmati zone, Sindhupalchok and Kabhre Palanchok districts; Sagarmatha zone, Okhaldhunga and Khotang districts; Koshi zone, Dhankuta District; Narayani zone; Lumbini zone; along Tama Kosi and Sun Kosi River valley. Also in India.
