Dialects  70% intelligibility with Metlatónoc [mxv], 68% with Santa María Peras Cuatzoquitengo; testing incomplete; also Guadalupe Portezuelo (65% intelligibility with Silacayoapan).

Language development  Grammar. NT: 1999.
Writing system  Latin script.
