Language use  Vigorous. All domains. Mainly adults. Ambivalent toward Bargam. Also use Tok Pisin [tpi], Garus [gyb], Megiar, or Matukar [mjk].
Language development  Literacy rate in L1: More than 50%. Taught in primary schools. Dictionary. NT: 2001.
Writing system  Latin script.
Comments  ‘Mugil’ refers to a Roman Catholic station. ‘Saker’ is a rare word referring to strength or stability. Agriculturalists: coffee; cocoa and copra production; portable saw mills; fish ponds. Christian, syncretism.
