Language use	Vigorous. All domains. All ages. Accept continued use of Mixe. Some also speak a Zapotec or Chinantec variety in Chinantequilla.
Language development	Literacy rate in L1: Below 1%. Literacy rate in L2: 50%. 40 to 50 people read it, very few write it. Dictionary. NT: 1989.
Writing system	Latin script.
Comments	SOV; long words, affixes, clitics; nontonal. Peasant agriculturalists. Christian.
