Population  15,000.
Region  Northwest region, Odienné Department, near Mali and Guinea borders.
Dialects  Wasulu (Wassulunka, Wassoulounka, Wassulunke). This may be the same language as Eastern Maninkakan [emk], Wojenaka [jod], or different from both.
Classification  Niger-Congo, Mande, Western, Central-Southwestern, Central, Manding-Jogo, Manding-Vai, Manding-Mokole, Manding, Manding-East, Southeastern Manding, Maninka-Mori
A member of macrolanguage Mandingo [man] (Guinea).
Comments  Ethnic Fulani who now speak a Manding language. Muslim.
