Region  Bougainville Province, Atolls District, northeast of Bougainville, Takuu Atoll, Mortlock village.
Alternate names   Mortlock, Taku, Tau, Tauu
Dialects  Distinct from Nukumanu [nuq] and Nukuria [nur] in Papua New Guinea and Ontong Java [ojv] and Sikaiana [sky] in Solomon Islands, although very closely related.
