Population  250,000 (2000), increasing. 80,000 monolinguals. Many young Ngiemboon moving to urban areas because little room left in rural home area.
Region  West Province, Bamboutos Division, Batcham Subdivision and west Mbouda Subdivision in Balatchi; Menoua Division, north of Penka-Michel.
