Region  North central coast, Municipio Dulce Nombre de Culmí, Olancho Department, Santa María del Carbón. Also in Las Marías, Gracias a Dios, Silín, Colón.

Alternate names   Paya, Seco
Classification  Chibchan, Paya
Language use  More active in using Pech in Agua Amarilla and La Laguna in El Carbón. Older adults. Shifting to Spanish.
Comments  There is a lot of interest in the community in preserving the Pech language, and some work is being done to preserve it. SOV.
