Dialects  Independent language based on Swedish [swe] with heavy lexical borrowing from Northern Romani varieties. Not intelligible with Angloromani.
Classification  Mixed language, Swedish-Romani
Language use  Mainly a secret language (1985 D. Kenrick), a Gypsy group and language in Sweden. Also fluent in Swedish [swe] or Norwegian [nor].
Comments  Arrived in Sweden via Denmark in 1512.
