Region  Tehran and Qazvin. Originally in Sanandaj, Kordestan Province. Also in Australia, United States.
Alternate names   Christian Neo-Aramaic, Lshan Sray, Senaaya, Shan Gyanan, Shan Sray, Soray, Sray
Dialects  Qazvin variety slightly different from that spoken by Sanandaj-born people.
Classification  Afro-Asiatic, Semitic, Central, Aramaic, Eastern, Central, Northeastern
Language use  Shifting to Assyrian Neo-Aramaic [aii].
Writing system  Syriac script.
