Population  Extinct.
Region  Tamanthi and its surrounding area in Homalin Township, Khamti District, Sagaing Division.
Classification  Sino-Tibetan, Tibeto-Burman, Jingpho-Konyak-Bodo, Jingpho-Luish, Jingpho
Language use  Reportedly the last speaker of Taman died in the 1990s. That speaker’s descendants reportedly intermarried and speak other languages now. No other speakers known.
