| Region | Central and northeast, near the China border, Cao Bàng, Lang Son, Hà Giang, Tuye Quang, Bác Thái, Quang Ninh, Hà Bac, Lam Dòng provinces. Some settled south in Tung Nghia and Song Mao. Possibly also in Laos. |
