Dialects  75% intelligibility with Yosoyúa, 73% with Ocotepec [mie], 72% with San Miguel el Grande [mig], and 51% with Nduaxico [xtn] (Northern Tlaxiaco Mixtec).
Classification  Oto-Manguean, Mixtecan, Mixtec-Cuicatec, Mixtec
Language use  Also use some Spanish.
Writing system  Latin script.
