Dialects  Southwestern Zimatlán dialect most distinct. 73% intelligibility with San Pedro el Alto [zpp], 80% with San Miguel Mixtepec [zpm] and San Mateo Mixtepec, 99% with the San Vicente Lachixío dialect.
