SIL Software Tools Overview
SIL produces tools for the purpose of assisting linguists, anthropologists, and other language workers in their field work and research and to prepare their results for publication. SIL offers many of those tools for free download from the SIL Software Catalog. These resources include software for
- language and culture data management and text analysis
- fonts
- keyboard utilities
- text utilities
- and more
They are offered for a variety of platforms. The software distributed from the SIL Software Catalog may represent work in progress, and bears no warranty, either expressed or implied.
