Population total all countries: 590. Ethnic population: 5,180 (FPCC 2014). L2 users: Up to 2,000 L2 speakers in Canada and the United States (Golla 2007).


South central British Columbia, east of Fraser Valley and west of Kootenai, on 7 reserves: Vernon, Douglas Lake, Westbank, Penticton, Keremeos, Hedley, Oliver.
